Currently serving as a musician in the 380th Army Reserve Band in the Richmond and Fort Eustis areas, Hailey Amick brings a joyful and multifaceted musical background to our school. Her journey began at the age of six with piano lessons and a lifelong passion for singing. Early on, she developed her vocal skills in choir, performing Christian and Broadway tunes, and later expanded her abilities by learning guitar from her grandfather, who introduced her to the soulful sounds of country music. Embracing a diverse array of genres, she further explored opera and classical styles before discovering the saxophone a revelation that sparked a deep love for jazz. Drawing from her own rich and varied experiences, Hailey is dedicated to inspiring young musicians by encouraging them to immerse themselves in a broad spectrum of musical genres.
